A festive newsletter edition, because it is of course the last month of the year.
In this December newsletter we pay attention to the Central Diploma Register, opening hours during the holidays, price increases and a wish for the new year.

About the Central Diploma Register
We often get questions from clients, but also from candidates who have just graduated, about the Central Diploma Register.
In this register, CDR for short, you can check whether someone has a valid VCA and/or SOG diploma. The diploma holder can check in the CDR until when the diploma is valid and therefore knows when it is time to renew the VCA or SOG diploma.
Clients can also check whether their employees are listed in the CDR. They therefore know for sure that this person has a valid VCA and/or SOG.
As of December 16, 2022, a renewed website of the CDR will be online and several certifications will be linked there. In this way it is even clearer for employers which certifications their employees have already obtained.
Please note that foreign diplomas and equivalent diplomas are not listed in the CDR, it only concerns Dutch certifications.

Price increase has been determined – will follow by email
In the past two newsletters we have announced it and this time we also do. Everyone will receive a new rate list from Ascend examengroep B.V. by email this month. We have to raise our prices, because the contribution for us is increasing. We’ve kept our increase so minimal because we know everything will go up in the coming months. We hope to accommodate companies by increasing the VCA and SOG by reasonable amounts.

Opening hours during the holidays
We can be reached on Friday December 23, 2022 until 5 p.m. We will be closed on the weekend of 24, 25 and Monday 26 December 2022.
From Tuesday 27 December to Friday 30 December we will be at the office with minimal occupation. It may therefore take a little longer before we can speak to you by phone. There are no exams planned for that week yet, but our exam leaders are available as usual. If you want to schedule another exam in that week, please contact us.
Saturday 31 December 2022 and Sunday 1 January 2023 we are closed.

We started our letter that we would like to make it a festive edition, so we close this newsletter with imaginary glitter and confetti!
We want to thank you all for last year. We are happy that we have again achieved so many people their VCA and / or SOG.
We look back on a year in which we traveled to Poland, Portugal, Italy and Croatia for exams and are very excited to grow internationally. In the Netherlands we also see new companies requesting their exams from us and we cherish all relationships that have been taking exams with us for a long time. We are grateful to each of you for a beautiful 2022 and look forward to 2023.
We wish you a year full of good energy and we trust that we can see you all again in the new year.
