Newsletter Ascend examengroep B.V

Dear client,

This is already the last newsletter of 2021! What a year we have all had. Measures, lockdowns, mouth caps on and off, disinfectant up to our elbows and then we got in The Netherlands a press conference just before Christmas with again a lockdown in our country. Despite all the unsociableness this year, we still want to make it a festive newsletter. We believe that with a positive attitude we will make it a very pleasant 2022.

Enjoy reading,
Team Ascend examengroep B.V.

We continue with examination

We respect how everyone personally deals with the new measures due to Covid and will therefore always consider the best solution in consultation with our customers to allow scheduled exams to continue. In any case, we will remain open! Exams and lessons with preparation for an exam can continue as usual in The Netherlands. Most trainers continuewith their lessons and that automatically means that exams are required.

At the office we also continue with the private exams and exams in small groups. We ensure that there is enough space for the candidates and use a mouth cap when entering and leaving the room. Our laptops, mice and headphones are disinfected after every exam.

If we have an exam on location, we always ask what the rules are there, so that the examiners can adhere to them. If you notice that an examiner has not adhered to your company rules, please let us know. We would like to continue to conduct the exams well everywhere.

IMPORTANT international exam registration changes in 2022

In addition to the Netherlands, we have a large portfolio with exams abroad. In the past two months we flew to Lithuania, Portugal, Croatia, England and Poland. It’s a lot of paperwork, but we are very happy that together with our international customers we manage to take exams every time.

From January 1, 2022, a few things will change for international customers. We have received new requirements from VCA Infra for registrations for exams abroad.
IMPORTANT: Exam requests must be submitted 14 days in advance, they can be canceled 10 days in advance, but will incur an administration fee of €50

The costs for foreign exams will also increase from January 2022. From January 1, 2022, a minimum of 6 candidates must always be paid. You can of course still choose to have fewer candidates participate in an exam, but the costs cannot be reduced.

VCA Infra will increase the costs next year. How much this will be is not yet known, so we will charge the 350 euros per exam for the time being until it is known how much the costs will be.

Presents under the Christmas tree

At the end of the year, the question is always what kind of nice present we are going to give to the staff and our customers. In the new Dutch blog on Business Plaza you can read our search for a nice gift for you. What it turned out to be… you will see for yourself this week!

We also decided to donate money to the Yayasan Harapan Baru charity in Lombok Indonesia. Ruby has partnered with this organization to help rebuild villages devastated by the 2018 earthquakes. Unfortunately, in November this year, these villages were ravaged by mudslides and the houses have been swept away again. Do you also want to donate? Then look at www.harapan-baru.com/nld/

Opening hours during Christmas and New Year’s Eve

We are open December 24, 2021 until 5 pm, we have exams scheduled on that day. At the weekend we enjoy a roast turkey and Christmas cookies, before starting a happy office day on Monday.

We are open between Christmas and New Years.
We will only be closed January 1, 2022.

See you next year!

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Warm regards,
Team of Ascend examengroep B.V.
