Corona protocol Ascend examengroep B.V. as of December 15, 2020

The speech of our Prime Minster was not over yet when the first messages were already filling our mailbox, because everyone’s big question is: what do the tightened Corona rules mean for the exams?

In the rules described on the website of the National Government, we read a number of things that we believe apply to us. First, it is indicated that locations for business and financial services may remain open. Ascend examengroep B.V. offers business services in the form of SOG and VCA exams.

Second, it literally describes “exams go through” along with “class for exam students go through.” We will therefore continue with our exams.

What does that look like in practice?

At the office we apply the rule of a maximum of 4 exam candidates at the same time. In this way we can guarantee the 1.5 meter distance for both the exam candidates and the examiner.

Site exams can still proceed with a maximum of 20 candidates, if the principal can guarantee that exam candidates can be seated 1.5 meters apart during the exam. However, we do prefer smaller groups.

The mandatory wearing of a mouth mask upon entering and leaving the examination room remains applicable.

The clients must provide disinfectant for the candidates, so that the candidates can disinfect their hands.
We continue to disinfect all our equipment and clean everything after every exam moment.

International exams

The international exams will continue as long as the country to which you are traveling allows it. We adhere to the rules to obtain a health certificate if necessary. The examiner will be quarantined for 10 days upon return to the Netherlands.

New application procedure for exams abroad

Often international companies planned in advance their exams abroad, but as a result a lot of those exams were canceled. VCA Infra has therefore opted to make the application procedure more flexible.

At Ascend examengroep B.V. you can request an exam 10 days in advance. You can cancel 8 days in advance. There is a margin of 2 days.

Christmas gifts

The Christmas present has arrived with everyone, although Santa Claus had some trouble with finding the right address. We have had amazing reactions from some of you and we hope that the chocolates will taste good.

Fortunately, now that we work with fewer people in the office, they stay fresh for a long time in the winter block buses.

Happy Holidays

We close this newsletter on a positive note. It is the umpteenth time to adjust and we naturally advise everyone to follow the national Corona rules. We would like to get this virus under control and we can achieve that together.

In previous newsletters we have already thanked you for the adaptability this year. It is fantastic how everyone has contributed to make exams possible and we hope that we can continue to count on your support.

During the speech of our Prime Minister it was said that we have to take into account that we will have little freedom of movement until March 2021 and who knows how long it will take.

At Ascend examengroep B.V. we remain positive despite everything. We are working hard on the implementation of a new system for 2021 to be able to enter and process your exams even faster.

We still come to take the exams with a big smile, although nowadays we hide our smile behind our mouth masks!

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas greetings,
Ascend examengroep B.V.
